Emotion Dictionaries are Here + Special Bonus!
I’m so thrilled to announce that my Emotion Dictionaries have arrived!!
When I was a baby therapist, I had no idea how to talk about emotions with my clients. This was probably because I hadn’t done any work paying attention to my own feelings. I thought emotions were just pesky byproducts of thoughts, and not worth paying attention to. Now, I look back and laugh at how little I knew and how much paying attention to feelings could transform my work and my client’s lives.
I designed the emotion dictionaries with this in mind. Emotions are so nuanced, and they involve key information that’s worth paying attention to. Emotion Dictionaries include eight guides - each guide details the different names, physical sensations, meaning, action urges, and associated behaviors of each emotion. The eight emotions included are anger, disgust, fear, happiness, guilt, shame, flat, and sadness. Here’s a sample:
With these guides, you can start your journey towards emotional intelligence - or guide your clients! You will have a better understanding of your feelings, feel more equipped to validate them and act in ways that make sense (rather than just feeling powerless to your feelings).
Emotions Exploration: Bundle and Save
If you haven’t gotten my other handouts - the Feelings Wheel or Functions of Feelings handout - you’re in luck! I am offering a special way to bundle and save when you buy all three. When you purchase the Emotions Explorer Package, you get one of the handouts for free. With this bundle, you and your clients will have everything you need for better self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
